I am a freelance composer and sound designer located in New Jersey and a graduate of Berklee College of Music.
Nothing else brings people together with the same kind of power and possibility as music. In high school I began to understand that when I joined the choir and began performing in concerts and musicals.
I have very fond memories of watching movies and playing video games with my dad throughout my life. My favorite game that I played with him was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The music from this game is a masterpiece.
I remember loving the challenge of trying to figure out which way the music was coming from in order to navigate a maze. Moments like this inspired me to create the same sort of immersion through my music.
Many of the unique hybrid scores in modern films also inspire me and I love when the line between music and sound design blur.
Some of my biggest musical inspirations are Lena Raine, Nobuo Uematsu, Thomas Newman, Fleet Foxes, and Regina Spektor.
